SIMUTERRA LEVELS

Levels

There are two levels: SimuTerra Standard (US$100) and SimuTerra Pro (US$200).

Pro: SimuTerra Pro gives you ALL the features of the program, including design (Proposed DTM and Cut & Fill DTM). That means that if you have design elements such as roads and building pads, you can see their effect on the terrain.

Standard: SimuTerra Standard has the same features as SimuTerra Pro, EXCEPT that it DOES NOT create a Proposed DTM or a Cut & Fill DTM. That means that if you have design elements, such as a road or a building pad, you CANNOT see their effect on the terrain. Please note that with SimuTerra Standard you can still create the Existing DTM, which depicts the surface created by existing data. You can also still manipulate/add/delete data, and see the effect on the Existing DTM in real time.

Levels and Files

Any SimuTerra file saved by any copy of SimuTerra (other than the limited trial, which cannot save) can be read by any copy of SimuTerra (including the limited trial). Design elements (such as roads) are retained in the file, even if the Standard level opened the file containing them and then saved the file under a different name.
