Locking and Unlocking Objects

It is sometimes convenient to lock objects; this prevents them from being dragged by mouse.

You can lock or unlock multiple selected objects by selecting the appropriate item from the Object menu. You can also lock or unlock multiple selected objects of one kind by using the appropriate checkbox in the appropriate dialog box. You can lock or unlock a single selected object by using the appropriate checkbox in the Info Panel.

A locked object can still by moved in ways other than dragging with the mouse.
