Document Window

A document window depicts contents of a document. Each document can have one or more windows, and each one can be toggled back and forth between displaying in 2D or 3D. Hence, a window might be referred to as a 2D window, a 2D view, a 3D window, or a 3D view.

If more than one window is open for any one document, you can see the same contents in different ways simultaneously.
