Create DTM
This will cause the selected points and polys to be used in creating a DTM. See also Creating DTMs.
Create DTM From SketchUp Foam Core Edges Method A
Similar to "Create DTM", but does some deselection before creating the DTM. Typically this will remove all straight polys along the perimeter of the data which is imported from a SketchUp foam core model. This command allows you to import the edges from SketchUp and create the DTM without having to select or deselect any data; it is all done automatically.
There are two menu items for creating a DTM from SketchUp foam core edges: method A and method B. The difference is that method A is for cases where the string of edges along the top of a contour line has a horizontal projection identical to that of the string of edges along the bottom of the same contour line. Typically if there is an edge which intersects a contour line, such as a poly representing a road, it splits the string of edges into two strings of edges, so the top may be split whereas the bottom remains as one string of edges; this would require method B. You can try one method, and, if it fails, choose Doc > Clear Undo and Deleted, select the data again, and try the other method.
