Creating Polys

Polys can be created by importing (DXF only), or by selecting the Poly Tool and clicking in at least two different places in a 2D window. Each click creates a new vertex, until you either click on the first vertex (which closes the poly and terminates its creation), or you double-click elsewhere (which places the last vertex and terminates its creation).

When you create a poly with the mouse, it is placed wherever you click it. Parameters other than x and y coordinates are taken from the default values for polys. You can change the default values by selecting a poly, setting its values, and choosing Object >: Use as Default Object.
