Creating Points

Points can be created by importing (DXF or tabular), or by selecting the Point Tool and clicking in a 2D window.

When you create a point with the mouse, it is placed wherever you click it. Parameters other than x and y coordinates are taken from the default values for points. You can change the default values by selecting a point, setting its values, and choosing Object >: Use as Default Object.
