Creating Entels

Entels can be created by mouse or by poly.

Creating by mouse

An entel can be created by selecting the Entel Tool and clicking in a 2D window.

When you create an entel, it is placed wherever you click. Parameters other than x and y coordinates are taken from the default values for points. You can change the default values by selecting an entel, setting its values, and choosing Object >: Use as Default Object.

If the default entel is set to follow a poly, and the poly which it is set to follow exists, and animation is on, then the entel which you create will immediately jump to that poly.

Creating by poly

If you select a poly, then choose Entel > Add Entels..., a dialog box will appear in which you can specify how many entels to create, and how to create them. The parameters of the default entel will be used. You can choose to have the entels created along or inside of the poly, and they can be distributed randomly or evenly. (You currently cannot have them distributed evenly within a poly.)
